  "Description": "An increasingly important source of health-related\nbibliographic content are preprints - preliminary versions of\nresearch articles that have yet to undergo peer review. The two\npreprint repositories most relevant to health-related sciences\nare medRxiv <https://www.medrxiv.org/> and bioRxiv, both of\nwhich are operated by the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.\n'medrxivr' provides programmatic access to the 'Cold Spring\nHarbour Laboratory (CSHL)' API <https://api.biorxiv.org/>,\nallowing users to easily download medRxiv and bioRxiv preprint\nmetadata (e.g. title, abstract, publication date, author list,\netc) into R. 'medrxivr' also provides functions to search the\ndownloaded preprint records using regular expressions and\nBoolean logic, as well as helper functions that allow users to\nexport their search results to a .BIB file for easy import to a\nreference manager and to download the full-text PDFs of\npreprints matching their search criteria.",
